Sydney Kovacs is a classically trained singer with a passion for jazz. Music was always playing in her childhood home, from Beethoven to Britney Spears and everything in between. Sydney is a lifelong singer with experience in musical theater, operatic bel canto style, jazz, and more. While she holds a bachelor's degree in classical voice, Sydneynow performs mostly jazz standards with some Motown and pop crossover tunes. Alex Ispa-Cowan is a jazz guitarist and frequent accompanist to Sydney. He started playing guitar at a young age and earned a bachelor's degree in jazz performance from Berklee College of Music, where he studied under Tim Miller and Sheryl Bailey. Alex plays in multiple local bands, including Jazz Therapy Band, The Sliphorn Society, and the Sydney Kovacs Quartet.
