Water from Wine

Singer/songwriter Kristen Marlo began singing before she could talk, and hasn’t stopped since.

She is a classically trained vocalist and self-taught guitarist, but also an accomplished composer and lyricist. She is a United States Air Force veteran. Inspiration for her prolific songwriting comes from passion for new experiences; her work covers the full range of human emotion, from love and lust to rage and revenge.

Over last decade she has been touring the US extensively in support of two independently released EPs, a live LP and a full band in studio LP. Her broad appeal is reflected in the eclectic list of internationally known American artists she’s opened for, including Sara Bareilles, Joshua Radin, Matt Hires, Eric Hutchinson, Allen Stone, April Smith, Fanfarlo, The Bravery, OAR, Gary Jules, folk singer Todd Snider, country artist Eric Church and others. Likewise, her music is featured on a score of compilations and her backing vocals can be found on dozens of other artists’ releases.

Do you have someone in your life who is difficult to shop for? Come in and our Sales Associate, Kaitlyn will teach you how to make the perfect card for those hard to shop for friends and family members! Cost covers cost of materials and demonstration. Drinks sold seperately. 

We encourage you to sign up ahead of time so we can be prepared for the number of participants. Walk-ins welcome if we are able to accomodate more. 

Rebecca Jaymes was raised in Pleasant Valley, New York. She picked up her first instrument at age three, and was classically trained on both violin and piano before exploring formal training for her voice. Rebecca graduated from Frost School of Music at the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Music in Studio Music and Jazz Vocal Performance. Since then, she has accumulated over 20 years of gigging experience, including performances at The Carlyle Hotel, The Bitter End, and Caffe Vivaldi in New York City. 

Rebecca moved to Seattle in 2021 and is thrilled to pick up her vocal career again with the wonderful musicians she has met in the area.

Our very own Kaitlyn Owen will lead you through the different types of sparkling wine, different regions and dry/sweet levels. She is a wealth of knowledge having accomplished her WSET with Merit. Come out an learn something new with us!

If you have ever watched "Drunk History" this is a nod to that hilarious tradition of story telling but on the mild side. Stay Tuned for topics or reach out to become a presenter!

Here's how it works.... The presenter receives two complementary glasses of wine before presenting a PowerPoint presentation on something they are passionate and knowledgeable about! The audience is encouraged to purchase extra pours for the speaker. At the end the audience has a chance to ask the speaker any questions they might have.
