Come join us for a fun and relaxing afternoon at Water From Wine on Pacific Avenue in Tacoma, WA, USA. Unleash your creativity with a brush in one hand and a delicious drink in the other. Talented local artist Joelle Hanton will guide you through creating your own masterpiece while you sip on a drink of your choice. No experience necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and we'll take care of the rest. Let's paint, sip, and have a great time together!

Wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase during event. Delicious Fall drinks will be available such as Hot Cider and Hot Mulled Cranberry Juice.

Painting supplies are included in the cost, but drinks are available for purchase at the event.

Details:

You'll be lead step-by-step through painting a simple yet beautiful landscape painting in watercolor. The first 15 minutes will be spent settling in, purchasing drinks and doing introductions. The next hour will be spent with step-by-step watercolor instruction and the final remaining time will be spent wrapping up your individual paintings and socializing.

You'll take your finished painting home at the end. The finished painting will be a square 8x8".

Rebecca Jaymes was raised in Pleasant Valley, New York. She picked up her first instrument at age three, and was classically trained on both violin and piano before exploring formal training for her voice. Rebecca graduated from Frost School of Music at the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Music in Studio Music and Jazz Vocal Performance. Since then, she has accumulated over 20 years of gigging experience, including performances at The Carlyle Hotel, The Bitter End, and Caffe Vivaldi in New York City. 

Rebecca moved to Seattle in 2021 and is thrilled to pick up her vocal career again with the wonderful musicians she has met in the area.

The Unassuming Beekeepers is a Tacoma-based acoustic band that plays a variety of combinations of guitars, mandolins, octave mandolin, cittern, and fiddle. We play both tunes (instrumentals) as well as vocals, and we draw on a wide range of influences (such as Celtic, Bluegrass, Americana, Swing, Great American Songbook, Folk, Early Rock, and some originals).

Reilly Rosbotham plays fiddle, and Barry Goldstein and Gen Obata play guitars, mandolins and share the vocal duties.
